Recently ranked the top brewery in their home state of Delaware according to data on the popular beer-rating app Untappd, Dewey Beer Company is excited to announce that they will be opening a new taproom location in Denver’s RiNo neighborhood.
After a fun and successful Pop-Up Taproom experience during the Great American Beer Festival in October, Dewey Beer is excited to announce that they will be moving into the former Mockery Brewery space in Denver.
Dewey Beer opened in 2015 in Dewey Beach and began distributing beer in Colorado in 2022 with wholesale partner Colorado Craft Distributors with the concept of connecting the brewery’s beach lifestyle and vibe with the culture and adventures of Colorado’s mountains.
Dewey Beer Colorado will be pouring a full menu of their unique lineup of IPAs, Lagers, and Fruit Smoothie Beers as well as several limited release beers that will only be served at the brewpub. Once fully operational the Denver taproom will begin brewing on-premise and releasing Colorado Taproom exclusive beers.A few highlights include: El Trono, a crushable Mexican Lager. Dewey’s signature hazy IPA, Swishy Pants. The brand new West Coast Style IPA, Sun Camp. The very limited Thrills: series, a variety of thick Fruit Smoothie Beers. Specialty winter releases such as Secret Machine: Cherry Cobbler a la Mode and Secret Machine: Baked Alaska, plus Bake Club dessert stout series.
The Dewey Beer Colorado Taproom will be open on a daily schedule and feature food trucks and events regularly. Dewey Beer will softly open their doors and begin serving patrons on Thursday, January 25th. Beers will be available on draft to enjoy at the taproom and a selection of canned beers and merchandise will be available to take home.

Dewey Beer Company’s has two locations in Delaware, the flagship brewpub and restaurant in Dewey Beach (2100 Coastal Highway) and the production facility and taproom in Harbeson, Delaware (21241 Iron Throne Drive).
The original brewpub opened in 2015 and the larger production brewery opened in 2021, allowing Dewey Beer to brew up to 12,000 barrels a year, with the capacity to expand up to 25,000 in the future.
