Fairfield’s finest Elicit Brewing Company and Super Duper Weenie are teaming up for the hottest collab to drop in 2026. On May 21, the brewery and hot dog haven will debut the MASHup (pun intended) so brilliant you never dared dream it: a hot dog bun-infused IPA.
In this celebration of Americana, Elicit Brewing’s head brewer, Adam Calderone, and Super Duper Weenie owner, Gary Zemola, teamed up to brew a double-IPA dubbed Super Duper Juice Bag, a remix of Elicit’s signature Total Juice Bag IPA with Super Duper’s famous buns added to the mash.
To mark this occasion, Elicit and Super Duper Weenie will host an al fresco beer christening kicking off Memorial Day weekend. Calderone will tap the first kegs of Super Duper Juice Bag while Zemola slings glizzies from his catering truck. (BONUS: The Super Duper Weenie food truck will take up residency at Elicit Brewing throughout Memorial Day weekend.) And, in the spirit of dogs, $1 from every Super Duper Juice Bag purchased will be donated to Stamford’s Project Precious Pups. With its canine-friendly beer garden, Elicit also will have the pup-hookup with doggy swag and treats for furry friends.
