Blue Skies Ahead: Iron Hill: Releases New Low-ABV Hazy IPA

The skies are blue, the sun is shining, and guests are sipping on a refreshing hazy IPA. What could be better? Iron Hill Brewery (Iron Hill), the most award-winning brewery east of the Mississippi, is kicking off the spring season with its latest craft beer, the Blue Skies & Sunny Haze IPA, developed at the Newtown location by award-winning brewer Pete Corbett, Sr., Head Brewer of Iron Hill.

This new core brand for the retail market is now conveniently available in 12-packs in stores throughout Pennsylvania and Delaware, 6-packs at all Iron Hill locations and in draft at local bars & restaurants as well as Iron Hill locations. This new beer embraces the juicy hazy IPA trend while catering to the rising demand for crushable, lower-ABV beers.

The perfect sip for a perfect day, Blue Skies & Sunny Haze (5.5% ABV) was crafted for the beer drinker looking to tone down the ABV without sacrificing bold, juicy flavors. This tropical medley of candied mango, passionfruit, and papaya offers the hazy, fruit-forward character that IPA fans love while remaining light and approachable. Featuring two-row malt and Citra, Mosaic, and El Dorado hops, it delivers a balanced burst of guava, berry, and citrus, making it a year-round favorite to live in your fridge.

Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant has won an impressive 86 medals at national and international beer competitions, solidifying its reputation as a leader in the craft beer industry. Committed to brewing excellence and innovation, Iron Hill continues to create award-winning beers that appeal to casual drinkers and craft beer enthusiasts alike.

“The popularity of hazy IPAs continues to thrive, but we’re also seeing a growing trend toward lower-ABV, easy-drinking options that still deliver on flavor,” says Mark Edelson, Founding Partner and VP of Beer at Iron Hill. “We’re excited for guests to experience Blue Skies & Sunny Haze. It’s a refreshing, fruit-forward hoppy beer that’s light enough to be an IPA you can enjoy all day.
