Brooklyn-based craft brewery Threes Brewing has announced its collaboration with The Irish Exit, the contemporary sister concept to world-renowned Irish pub The Dead Rabbit located at the heart of Moynihan Food Hall. The result of a year-long relationship built via Threes’ Moynihan Train Hall outpost, The Irish Exit will now offer Threes’ “Silent Departure” Irish Lager on draft. The lager, created exclusively for The Irish Exit, is priced at $10 per pint and will serve as the house beer for the quick-service pub.

The partnership represents the latest in Threes’ ongoing series of collaborations with iconic New York City institutions. “New York’s food and beverage culture is built on relationships and mutual respect,” says Mike Naclerio, Director of Sales at Threes Brewing. “From Smorgasburg, to Peter Luger Steakhouse to Veselka, we’ve been fortunate to work with partners who share our commitment to quality and community. This collaboration with The Dead Rabbit team, by way of their secondary concept The Irish Exit, continues that tradition.”

“Silent Departure” is a 4.3% ABV Irish-style lager, featuring biscuity, sweet grain notes alongside floral and herbal flavors that are both smooth and balanced. The collaboration includes a custom tap handle featuring both brand logos on painted wood.

“This beer represents everything we love about creating collaborative relationships,” says Matt Levy, Head Brewer at Threes Brewing. “We’ve developed a recipe that honors the Irish lager tradition while incorporating our ethos around brewing. It’s clean, approachable, and perfect for any occasion.”

“Our customers have been asking for a proper Irish lager, and partnering with Threes lets us deliver something special,” says Grainne O’Neill, Director of Strategy at The Irish Exit. “Having a local brewery create our house beer, especially one that understands both craft brewing and New York’s pub culture, makes perfect sense. Plus, being neighbors in Moynihan Train Hall creates a unique opportunity for both of our businesses.”

The partnership is particularly meaningful given both establishments’ presence in Moynihan Train Hall. “The Irish Exit serves as the perfect spot for a pre-train pint, while our shop offers travelers the chance to grab some cans for the road,” says Naclerio. “It’s a natural synergy – have one there, take some home from here. We’re excited to strengthen that connection through this collaboration.”

The new lager will be available as an evergreen draft starting today, April 21. Additional collaborative promotions between Threes Brewing and The Irish Exit are planned throughout 2025.
