Mother Earth is continuing their rotating HIPA Series, Project X, with the release of a new Citra, Strata, and Nelson-hopped brew.
Free Fall, as it is aptly named, starts with custom label art from the likes of Leandro Costa Machado – A digital artist hailing from Brazil. Artistically stylized as MACHADOXLEAO, Machado is known for using “Vibrant colors at the edge of saturation” in his work, a method exemplified in Free Fall’s cover.
Mother Earth’s describes its newest Hazy IPA as medium to full bodied, thanks to a heavy adjunct grain bill of oats and wheat on top of Pale 2-Row, creating a characteristic haze and sturdy mid-palate. The hop trio of Strata, Citra, and Nelson needs no introduction but serves to really bring forward fruit expressions with a dank edge. Strawberry and peach preserves kick off a medley of fruit flavor that also leans into mango, lime, and passionfruit, with an herbal, kush-like finish.
