Modern Times Beer announces the release of Green Futures Hazy IPA and Dinosaur World Hazy Double IPA.
Originally brewed in 2021, Green Futures Hazy IPA (6.8% ABV) is the first offering in Modern Times’ seasonal Hazy IPA lineup, available in 12oz 6-packs and draft. A light base malt creates the foundation for ample amounts of Nelson, Amarillo, and Strata hops in the dry hop. Green Futures is layered with pineapple, candied berries, and honeydew notes, and a touch of bitterness in the finish.
“In reimagining this Hazy IPA, we wanted to create a dank beer with piney, citrusy aroma,” said Justin Holmes, New Projects Manager. “It has a crushable body and is dry enough to warrant multiple pours.”
Dry hopped with nearly equal amounts of Citra, Amarillo, and Mosaic, Dinosaur World Hazy Double IPA (8.0% ABV) returns with notes of candied orange, fresh stonefruit, and mango, along with classic West Coast piney hop notes. Dinosaur World is the first of three releases in Modern Times’ Hazy Double IPA lineup, available in 16oz 4-packs and draft.
“This hazy juice bomb was many people’s first introduction to the Modern Times IPA program, and I’m very happy to say that this rendition doesn’t disappoint,” said Justin Holmes, New Projects Manager. “It’s dank, resiny, not too bitter, and has a lot to offer.”
Green Futures and Dinosaur World are now on draft and to-go at Modern Times taprooms in Point Loma, North Park, and Encinitas, and coming soon to shelves at fine retailers.
