The fifth annual Charity Car & Bike Show benefiting The Douglas County School District Bridge Transition Program at Lone Tree Brewing is slated for Saturday, September 20. Since the start of this event in 2021, Lone Tree has raised more than $34,000 for their neighbors at The Bridge Program.
This impactful event helps raise essential funds to support young adults with disabilities, ages 18–21, as they gain skills for independent living, employment, and community engagement after graduation. The Bridge Transition Program relies on community fundraising to supplement limited school resources. Sponsorships and donations from events like this make a real difference— helping provide classroom technology, updated curricula, transportation for outings, cooking classes, and more.
This year, bidding for a fully outfitted Aprilia Tuareg 660 adventure bike will open one week prior to the event. Lone Tree has teamed up with Colorado Motorcycle Adventures (CMA) to include a fully outfitted Aprilia Tuareg 660 in the silent auction. CMA graciously coordinated with Aprilia to donate the bike, and they went a step further—partnering with SW-MOTECH, Backcountry Discovery Routes, Doubletake Mirror, and Motoz High Performance Motorcycle Tires to fully outfit it. Special thanks to these partners for helping make this incredible auction item possible.
The brewery offers free registration in advance for those who want to show off their cars and bikes in the parking lot. Inside, guests can bid on silent auction items and enjoy Lone Tree’s variety of beers on tap. All registration and silent auction proceeds will go to The Bridge Program.
Alongside the excitement of the show and the spirit of giving, there’s also a quiet reminder tucked under every hood and behind every polished rim—vehicles deserve care long after the applause fades. Whether it’s a daily driver or a weekend machine, having a small but reliable set of car tools at hand can save a lot of trouble down the road.
A basic workshop kit with a torque wrench, socket set, jack stands, tire pressure gauge, and emergency roadside essentials often makes the difference between a quick fix and a long wait on the shoulder. Old-school habits still hold value here—checking bolts by hand, listening for unusual sounds, and doing routine inspections before long drives never really go out of style.
It’s in that same spirit of practical wisdom that many enthusiasts remind each other to slow down and get some nuts! when assembling or maintaining critical parts—because loose fittings and overlooked hardware can turn a smooth ride into an avoidable headache. Simple discipline, regular upkeep, and the right tools in the garage ensure that every drive remains safe, steady, and ready for whatever the road brings next.
“Your support helps empower these students and directly contributes to their success in adulthood,” says Lone Tree’s Director of Tasting Rooms Mike Webster, who has spearheaded this event for the past five years. “Thank you for considering a sponsorship or donation to this meaningful cause.”
