Lakewood Brewing Company’s Seduction Series line of Temptress variants has been inspiring tastebuds (and their people!) to do the happy dance. With each variant of the hugely popular Temptress Imperial Milk Stout flying off the shelves, fans eagerly await each release as an experience not to be missed. Last fall saw Peanut Butter Temptress followed by Salted Caramel Temptress. And now the tried and true fan favorite is returning just in time for Mardi Gras.
“How can you go wrong French Quarter Temptress?” laughs Wim Bens, Founder and President of Lakewood. “This variant probably has the biggest following in the series and we’re happy to give fans what they want.”
Lakewood once again partnered with Noble Coyote Coffee Roasters in Dallas. Every year they age fair-trade, single-source green coffee beans in a bourbon barrel and then roast the beans just hours before it goes into the beer. “The ability to get locally roasted, super high quality coffee is important to make the best beer possible,” says Wim, “and the added step of aging the beans in a bourbon barrel really adds that final little something to the beer.”
French Quarter Temptress will be available on draft and in 4-pack bottles at craft beer locations throughout Texas as well as at the Lakewood Brewing Taproom.
