Lakewood Brewing Co. will host a tempting pop-up Saturday, June 14 featuring Temptress-infused sweets from Sweet Dol-ings, a local woman-led baking business with a heartwarming origin story. Founder Nedjina Dol discovered her passion for baking during the 2020 holiday season, mailing homemade dessert boxes as an act of love to friends and family, which turned into an annual tradition that grew into something much bigger.
The outpouring of support and encouragement from her boxes led Nedjina to take the leap last year and launch Sweet Dol-ings. This month, she’s bringing her baking mixology to Lakewood with a tempting lineup of Temptress Blonde and Temptress Stout-infused baked goods. Temptress Blonde is an Imperial Golden Stout that recently launched and was inspired by the family-owned brewery’s legendary Temptress, the top-selling craft stout in Texas.
The pop-up will take place in Lakewood’s indoor Taproom, and attendees can support local business and shop small by treating themselves to something sweet and something boozy. Lakewood brightens the Saturday afternoon offering with its wide selection of popular craft beer and bites for browsers, including its incredibly noshable Bavarian Pretzel with Beer Cheese spread and Temptress mustard, and a limited time Chicken Pickle Ranch Flatbread with ranch, grilled chicken, mozzarella, Lakewood Lager house-made pickles and a buffalo drizzle.
