Kason Announces Vance as New President as Part of Strategic Growth

Kason Corporation, an industry leader and global manufacturer of screening and processing equipment for multiple industries, recently announced the appointment of Seth Vance as President.

Vance joins Kason after a successful tenure as Chief Operating Officer at Timber Automation (TA), a manufacturer of custom sawmill equipment, control systems and optimization technology. He also previously worked at Danaher Corporation, most recently serving as Global Business Director of the Claros Water Intelligence System. He has extensive experience with industrial equipment and instrumentation as well as complementary software, and Internet of Things (IoT) applications. He has a BA in Economics from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of Virginia – Darden Graduate School of Business Administration.

“We are very excited to add Seth to the management team,” said Brad Sterner, CEO of Advanced Material Processing, the parent company owner of Kason. “He brings a wealth of knowledge in processes and business planning that will prove critical in serving our customers with new product innovations and technology solutions.”

Sterner also announced that Henry Alamzad, Kason’s Chief Executive Officer, now joins AMP as Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Business Development. In his new role, Alamzad is charged with launching the newly formed AMP Thermal Process Group (AMP TPG), as well as building product and marketing synergies between Kason, AMP TPG and Marion Process Solutions, a sister company in the AMP portfolio.

“Henry has been critical to the success we have had so far in creating synergies within the company,” said Sterner. “Moving forward, he will be instrumental in uncovering unserved customer needs in critical thermal processing applications and creating more powerful solutions for the marketplace.”
