Kalamazoo Craft Beverage Week Returns January 2024 and Includes a New Design Contest

Kalamazoo Craft Beverage Week returns for its 14th year from Friday, January 12 through Sunday, January 21. Events and specials highlighting local craft beverage makers will take place all throughout the week at breweries, wineries, distilleries, bars and restaurants around Kalamazoo County.

“This is an opportunity for us to celebrate our local craft beverage makers and create some excitement during the winter,” said Dana Wagner, Director of Marketing and Communications with Discover Kalamazoo, the destination marketing organization for Kalamazoo County that manages Kalamazoo Craft Beverage Week. “We have such creative local partners throughout the County and it’s awesome to see all the unique collaborations that have been generated.”

Each year, more than 100 events and specials take place during Kalamazoo Craft Beverage Week with offerings like unique food and drink pairing sessions, make and take crafts, exclusive releases, tours, meet and greet events with the craft beverage makers, yoga sessions with tastings, trivia and games. The listings of events and craft beverage specials for 2024 will be posted by late December.

New this year, local artists can get involved in a design contest for a commemorative sticker that will be available during the event week. Organizers are seeking designs that incorporate Kalamazoo and the craft beverage industry in a fun creative way. Designs can be submitted online up until Thanksgiving and afterwards the community will be able to vote for their favorite. The one receiving the most community votes will be selected as the winning design to print on stickers distributed during the 2024 Kalamazoo Craft Beverage Week and the winning artist will receive recognition along with a cash prize.
