In a changing world of food and beverage, a desire for more Non-Alcoholic options at breweries and bars led to the development of a new ‘better for you soda’ option.

Batch Brewing Company is known for their traditional beer styles, delicious BBQ, charitable work in the community, and now Güt Soda, a prebiotic soda brand recently launched by the brewery. Güt, pronounced goot, is the German word for good.

“We’ve filled our need for Non-Alcoholic options with a product that tastes great and is Güt for your gut,” said Batch Brewing Company owner, Stephen Roginson.

Güt Soda’s debut flavor Strawberry Watermelon is currently hitting shelves in select stores, and new flavors will be introduced this spring, including Lemon-Lime Ginger and Blackberry Lemon. Güt Soda has only 20 calories, 1g of sugar, 8g of fiber, and 9 carbs per 12oz serving.

“As one of the only local prebiotic sodas in the Michigan market, we hope Michganders will give Güt Soda a try and keep it stocked in their refrigerators,” said Eric Plata, Batch Brewing Company head brewer and Güt Soda recipe developer. “This was fun to work on and develop. We really have a great product here.”

Keep your eye out for Güt Soda in your local retailers, and look for the new flavors to drop soon. Güt Soda is distributed by M4CIC and is available statewide.
