Area Breweries to Celebrate PDX Pride Week

Migration Brewing has spearheaded gathering some of Portland’s finest craft breweries and beer bars to participate in the first annual PDX Craft Beer Pride Week.  The celebration will kick off on Sunday, July 9th at Wayfinder Brewing.  Throughout the week, each participating brewery will have a night of Pride programming full of music, beer and food specials.  The week will be capped off with Steeple Jack Brewing at the Sport Bra’s second annual block party on July 16th, at 2512 NE Broadway.

Migration will be hosting their Pride night party on Thursday July 13th from 4pm to close at their original Glisan location.  Fresh from the brewery will be this year’s “Colors of Love”, a West Coast Pilsner that comes in at 5.4% ABV and features Galaxy and Citra hops.  The pub will also have a specialty food menu for the festivities to go along with plenty of drag bingo and a company donation to Black & Beyond the Binary Collective.

“We’re really excited for this celebration.  All the participating breweries jumped on board quickly and the fact that it coincides with Portland’s Pride parade should be a lot of fun,” says Colin Rath, Migration’s Pub Operations Director, and Co-Founder. “We’ve always enjoyed hosting a large annual Pride party and it only made sense to see if we could make it bigger.  So far, the response has been extremely positive and we look forward to hopefully making the PDX Craft Beer Pride Week an annual event,” states Rath.
