Alma Mader, Meanwhile Announce Collaboration Beer, Western Canvas

Alma Mader Brewing and Meanwhile Brewing Co. are thrilled to introduce Western Canvas, a limited edition West Coast IPA, as part of Alma Mader’s sixth-anniversary celebration. The beer will be available starting Wednesday, April 9, in both breweries’ taprooms and through limited distribution in Kansas City.

This collaboration blends the signature styles of both breweries, resulting in a bold and flavorful IPA. Western Canvas showcases bright notes of meyer lemon and blueberry balanced with dank resinous character. Brewed with Chinook, Mosaic, Mosaic Dynaboost, Strata, and Idaho 7 Cryo hops, the beer features a crisp malt bill of Pilsner, Flaked Wheat, and Malted Wheat, fermented with 3470 German Lager yeast. The use of Mosaic Dynaboost, a concentrated pourable hop extract, adds an extra layer of intensity, positioning Western Canvas within the Cold IPA category.
