David Flores has been named chief operating officer of Zeon, one of the country’s leading innovators of Point of Purchase signage and the strategic partner of choice to create marketing approaches that help customers build and reinforce their brands.
Flores was initially hired as Zeon’s creative director. As COO Flores’ responsibilities will include managing Zeon’s day-to-day operations in Creative Services, domestic and international manufacturing, and to oversee the company’s warehouse and fulfillment processes.
Zeon was founded in 1980 and is based in Louisville, CO. Zeon clients include some of the country’s most recognized craft beers – New Belgium, Avery, and Sierra Nevada – as well as numerous national franchise and retail brands, such as Papa John’s, The UPS Store, PostNet, K2 Sports, Mossberg firearms, and Keen.
The POP, signage, and marketing products Zeon creates span the spectrum of neon, LED, non-illuminated signs, tackers, light boxes, chalkboards, bodega, tap handles, and back bar products.
Zeon founder and CEO Alan Bloom described Flores as “one of the most original people I have ever worked with. He is a rare combination of artistic and imaginative flair and a business savvy that is smart and forward thinking.”
“What sets Zeon apart from our competition is our commitment to understanding our clients’ brands and creating products that promote their unique identity,” Flores said. “We’re about shaking up things up at the point of sale. All of Zeon’s products are designed to capture the true essence of our clients’ brands, build loyalty, and help them stand out in a crowded marketplace. Our goal is to design and manufacture the most innovative and highest quality products in the industry. The fun we have doing it is just an added bonus.“
